Our Story

      Michael is a Florida native, born and raised in Jacksonville.  In 1993, he was given the opportunity to travel to Dallas, Texas to learn a new skill called Paintless Dent Removal or PDR.  He quickly took to this inventive way of repairing vehicles and has been perfecting his craft for over 31 years.  He has worked locally and nationally for several dealerships, auto body/collision centers, rental car companies and retail customers.
     Michael grew up in the automobile industry and got his passion for cars from his father, Jim.  Jim has been in sales since 1969 and has become a local legend in the Jacksonville area for his outstanding salesmanship.  Jim continued to work in the car sales industry even into his 70’s and inspires his son with his dedication to his work and family.
     From 2001 to 2010, Michael was the sole in-house technician for a BMW, Volkswagen, Mini/Cooper dealership in Jacksonville.  He handled all of the new and used car inventory, along with service lanes and the collision center.  In 2011, he decided it was time to make a change and become his own boss.  He created and opened a local Mobile PDR business, Dent-O-Matic.
     Michael’s business has been a great success and has enabled him to travel all over the United States and abroad repairing hail damaged vehicles.  He recently was invited to work overseas in Australia for several months and really enjoyed his time there.
     Michael is a Vale Training Solutions - Certified Master Craftsman ID#10282 www.valetrainingsolutions.com/paintless-dent-repair-technicians/.  He is proficient in handling dents, dings and creases, as well as hail damaged vehicles.  He provides fast and affordable repairs with a high level of quality and customer service.  He has experience dealing one-on-one with Insurance Companies, including all estimating and handling of insurance claims and supplements.
     Dent-O-Matic, LLC is a family oriented business.   Michael’s wife and partner, Joyce, handles the books. His English Bulldog, Handsome Jack & French Bulldog, Lil' Eddie, oversee all the daily operations.
     Michael has seen many changes in the auto industry over the years. He continues to evolve as a business owner and technician. In order to provide the best service to his customers, Michael is persistent in educating himself on industry trends, techniques and tools.  Michael is a great asset to his family, community and the Mobile Paintless Dent Removal industry.
